About 6 months ago after reading about various issues with the ficm here I decided to be proactive and have my batteries checked. They turned out to be fine but the alternator was a little low so I upgraded to a larger unit from ficmrepair.com along with upgraded wiring.
I also got a scangauge to monitor things and everything was peachy with the ficm reading a solid 48.0 volts. In the last week or two I have occasionally seen the ficm read 47.5 volts. I would estimate that it is now showing up about 25% of the time.
I understand right where you are. Just keep an eye on it and if you anything I'd the 46's come on back. Most say you can get lower then that but I made it to 190k with only rare drops to where you are.
