I guess I could ask the same of you. Where are you getting information that says not to?

Keep in mind, we've gotten off track a bit here.

To be clear, we were talking about engine antifreeze coolant.

The green stuff, ethylene glycol. Not crankcase oil!! Pay attention.

ATTENTION! DO NOT POUR MOTOR OIL DOWN THE TOILET

Carry on.

Deleted because it's antifreeze, not oil in question see next post.

Antifreeze yes, oil no. Thought we were on oil only.

I must of caught that about the same time you did. Yes, antifreeze ok in some places, oil never. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm sorry for getting off topic about anti-freeze disposable and causing any confusion.

Even if you go off topic, at least there is activity in this forum. Things have been slow.

I spent half a day trying to get rid of some coolant one time. first I looked online and found a place locally that was....quote.... an authorized coolant disposal center. It was also a Hyundai service center.

anyway, when I got there various inquiries I made to personnel there were met with reactions from thinking I was Allen Funt to as though I had just landed in an alien space ship.
