Painting New Plastic Bumper Parts

Painting New Plastic Bumper Parts
New to the forum and hoping to get some advice. I purchased a couple of new bumper parts for my '13 TC Cargo and need to paint them to match the existing gloss bumper. When they were received, they had a texture that is not in the existing bumper. The bumper is smooth with a gloss finish.
How do you remove the texture? I could sand them, but not sure that is what I am supposed to do. Does the primer or paint fill this in? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
For reference, the parts are a rear corner bumper cover and that small round plate on the front bumper.
Thanks!

I had a similar experience with a an external sun visor for my 53 Ford PU. I tried primer, and then more primer, and then more primer, on one small section and found that the roughness of the surface required more filler. I ultimately did a thin coating of Bondo, then primed and painted. It has held up well.

If I'm not mistaken, there are two different types of bumpers.. one that is smooth as to allow for painting and one that is semi textured (like mine). Although from a distance it looks smooth.. it isn't there are small textures on these bumpers.
What we had originally intended on doing is have the front bumper wrapped in areas just to break up the stark blackness of the bumper. The only other option is to purchase the smooth factory bumper already primer coated ready for painting.
Our issue again was that we wanted to wrap the front areas and no wrap shop wanted to handle this because of the micro textures.. we did find one shop that said they are willing to do the detail.. but we've yet to follow up.
