What do you think of the Crown vic install?

I found these pictures on Craigslist. What do you think of the Crown Vic front suspension being installed like this? Would there be any safety concerns with this install vs the drilling through top and bottom part of the frame rails?

I like it, but I would still box the frame and add some gussets to the ears that replaced the top bracket from the CV.

The installation above is half-azzed... no bolt sleeves, boxing, etc.

Boxing the frame is required... the top side of the CV subframe needs spacers anyways.

That is the difference Hio, they removed that top mounting bracket, it is only bolt to the frame at the bottom.

My concern would be stress on the aluminum from not having that top mounting point. I couldn't see were those stamped metal plates were on the truck. I would let someone else test it for a while before I took a chance of my front end breaking.

look what I found, Looks like a similar setup, makes a little more sense and eases some of my worry.

Found on this site by the way. https://www.ford-trucks.com/g/album/871300
