Will 1948 F2 Front Fenders fit 1952 F3?
I've been searching and read that the fenders for 1948-1952 F2 thru F6 are the same.
Then I see a build thread that says they are not. That 1951 and 1952 are but not earlier.
I tried looking at pics. It's obvious that the lower part of fenders are different but the top sections look the same in some pics but, not in others.
Anybody know for sure?

The '48-50 are different than the '51-52 fenders, the parts will not interchange between the two different styles. As Josh stated, you can bolt an entire front clip from one model onto the other but not mix and match parts. The hoods are are also different, the front latching system is quite different.
One good thing about the F-2 through F-6 trucks is they share the same front sheet, within their model year, so you will have a larger pool of trucks to use parts from.

When I restored my 1951 F-3, I found only 1951 - 1953 worked best. This is true for all of the parts that are generally needed to replace or repair. It is a very low window opening but....hey, as they say, it is what it is...
Also beware; I have bought replacement parts, think light switch from Mac's, and it is junk, refuses to work. Best bet, as you may know, is NOS...but now being over 60 years, good luck in the search. If you, or anyone here, hits the motherload of NOS, please announce ASAP...Good hunting!

Here's a handy table I made up a long time ago:
Body Part Interchange Guide
BTW. If you think there aren't many interchangeable parts between the '48-52, which there mechanically, you should look int pre war cars. At with my '37 Buick I was amazed only a couple parts are interchangeable from model to model in the same model year, even less from model years. They most have retooled every year which had to cost millions. I am assuming that they learned a lot during the war that it was more cost effective to use the same parts for few model years.
