Need help with Lifting my truck.
I have a stock 05 f150 stx single cab 2WD. i am interested in lifiting my truck purely for looks, not planning on any offroad craziness. I am wanting to put 35x12.5 tires with 18" rims. I am told i need adapters because i only have 6 lugs where as the tires and rims that were given to me are 8 lug? Any suggestions as to where i can get those? and i was planning on doing a 2.5" coil sapcer in the front and 2" add a leaf in the back, but realize that i want to be a little higher. Im interested in a 3 or 3.5" lift, but some reviews i have read say those are bad..? any thoughts about it? im new to all this and have no clue about this process.

unless your doing prerunner fiberglass style fenders you are going to need wayyy more than 3" of lift, especially using the adaptors you're going to need to change the lug pattern (due to the added width). not knowing your wheel width or offset i'd guess you'll need 6-8" of lift minimum to not rip your fenders off..
good luck.
good luck.
