E-250 jump seat

E-250 jump seat
My husband recently acquired a 2006 E-250 work van which is currently our primary vehicle. It has only the two front seats - the cargo area has shelving on both sides. We need to add at least one additional seat. I have seen discussions of a jumpseat in front, but can't find a part specifically for the Econoline series. But I have seen a number of seats advertised for the F series.
Does anyone know if the F series jumpseat will fit the Econolines?
Or, where I can get specifications for a jumpseat that would fit?
Or, if I were to consider a bench seat in the cargo area, would the shelving on one or both sides need to be removed?
This is a completely new area for me, so I would appreciate any help!

Jump seat will be very tight with the dog house that cover the engine. Also, if you fit one, it will only have lap seat belt and I do not think they offer enough protection on that front location.
You probably can fit a second row captain chair form a "Chateau" van and fit it with OEM seat belt.

Uhaul vans had a jump seat in them, but, that's a "fleet" buyer, and special specs for their fleet. If you could find an old uhaul that someone would part with the seat, your problem is solved.
Ebay find - Jump Seat | eBay
Anything that you would get from the F-series would need to be fabricated to mount and secure to the van's floor. And possibility even fab up a height extension to the base.
GreeVan is correct that you would not have much leg room with the dog house in the van.
I would second the idea of taking a rear captain chair out of a junk yard find 'custom van' and mount that just behind the front seat, in the cargo area.
Knew a guy years ago that had a captain's chair mounted in the rear, he did many miles traveling to arts/craft shown, and......well......that's where his mother-in-law sat, so, it was a true "mothers-in-law seat"
