So I have a 93 f250 with the 460 with fuel injection. So my problem I'm have is, I had an exhaust leak that needed fixed and I also wanted more power since I'm taking the time to fight with the manifolds anyway. I bought the banks exhaust was really excited about it. Then I started to remove exhaust bolt and some seem to be missing little did I know I had 7 broken bolts. Took the truck to the shop for them to remove the broken bolts, the guy said he could get them out pretty easy. Well I have 6 lots left in the. He then told me he could take the heads off and get it out for 1800. I said no. I could get new heads and do a rebuild for that much. So with all my story out there. My questions are just fitment for part for my efi 460 vs carb 460. Will my efi intake fit on the carb heads or did they change bolt patterns or anything like that? This is my first 460 so don't know the difference with all the years. I have only really done stuff with the 302 and fe motors. Any info would be useful. I want to start buying parts but I don't want to buy anything until I know it will fit. Oh one more thing. I'm not looking for just standard heads I'm trying to get more power so that is why I'm trying to go aftermarket instead of rebuilt stock.

 

The intake and exhaust port spacing is different between the carb'ed and EFI heads.
