Noticed a problem on the way to work my passenger headlight doesn't work when they are on automatic but do work when I turn them on manually with the switch
Can't get at the '05 stuff right now but I do have the '04 & '06 handy.
I'll post the '05 for you later when I can get at that file.
The last 3 PDf are for the '06 & '07.
I have a 2003 ford f350 6.0L...currently NO headlights at all...no day time running lights. My highbeam icon is illuminated on the dash at all times. If I turn the switch to day time running lights, pull it out to turn on the fog lights and put the high beams to the on position I get a loud buzzing from a relay under the hood. Ive replaced the Multifunction switch, as well as the buzzing relay, tried a new headlight/dimmer switch...and nothing. HELP!!!

Do you get low beams to work if you turn the switch to ON and not to auto?
I think we have it pin pointed to the relay box under the hood. It houses 3 relays, one large one and 2 smaller ones. The highbeam light is illuminated on the dash at all times, but when the large relay was removed, the buzzing noise stopped, the illuminated light disappeared, and the fog lights work on any setting....just no day time running lights, head lights, or high beams.....
More than likely that relay is OK. It is what is controlling it that is the problem.
Not enough power or a poor ground can make a relay buzz.
Also the Fog lamps use the high beam indicator as the ground for the fog lamps.
So the fact that being on tells me that something is sending it power.
IS the high beam indicator on all the time or only when you turn the headlights on?
Have you tried pulling that relay when it's buzzing to see if the high beam indicator turn off?
Do you have a DMM (Digital Multi Meter) you should pick one up.
Lisle Tools makes a relay test kit.
This is useful in allowing you to get at all the contacts that the relay plugs into to check voltages
and resistance of a given circuit without having to pull things apart. I think that this relay test kit
would be very handy in your case if you are going to do the work your self. Throwing parts at a problem
can get very expensive fast. Part prices in Canada are far more costly than in the US it would seem.
Back to diagnosing this problem.
You may find the you truck has more that one place that uses that relay and can swap then to see if the
problem goes with the relay or stays put.
I'll do some more looking at the diagrams I have to see if I can find any other common points other
than the VSS box that might contribute.

Did you check the bulbs to see if they are burned out?
