Need part ID's for my 1988 D60 swap please.

Hello.

I picked up a 1988 F350 D60 to swap into my E350 and unfortunately only got the axle and no suspension.

Can anyone tell me a part # or name of the crucial driver side u-bolt retainer piece? It has a slot that goes around the webbing of the pumpkin.

Thanks!

You can find them on eBay but be prepared for $200 for one. I have seen pics out there of a ubolt reversal and all that is required is to cut the web at the bottom. Search around a bit on Google and it will show up.

Thanks

Or get this U-bolt flip kit for 78-97 Ford Dana 60 front axles..

I cant seem to find a picture of the 4" U bolt hole, instead of the weaker slot.

the link you posted is no good.

but i don't think i would cut the axle gusset plate. cutting for a u bolt to fit will really weaken the axle there.that gusset is there for a reason.

Fixed that..

Agreed. But I read about a hole instead of the slot not weakening the web as much.

Im not building rock crawler. Only converting a tow rig to 4x4.

Here it is..

And a funny discussion.
