1959 Radiator support
I repaired the right side of my 59 with a piece of 1-1/2" angle thus eliminating the 3 sided channel. It was easy because it was a straight piece about 10" long. In the center area I would cut out the bad stuff then using 1-1/4" angle (the dimension is different as you will notice) fab a new piece making careful cuts on the proper angles on both sides to make "a smile" looking support. Weld in place and you're good. That metal is thick enough to weld to using a wire feed welder. I don't know how bad yours is but you shouldn't have to be concerned about bolt holes like I was. When the front clip is all put back together, only a purist will ever notice your work. If you are a purist, disregard above. lol. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. I was flirting with some ideas like that but not having welding experience I wasn't sure I was on the right track. Mine is corroded at the bottom. The tracks the radiator fits into seem to be ok. They are next on the de-rust task when I figure how to get into it. Way I see it is if I can't buy one, I'll have to follow your lead.
