Keypad Issues
Having issues with door keypad in the 07 Expedition Ltd withthe Ford Gold RMST system installed (I don’t think the RMST is a factor); replaced the keypad with a new Ford keypad. On occasion the keypad works (such as lights up and accepts the code) however most of the time it is inoperable but the 0/9 key still will lock the doors.What I have done so far is 1. Replaced the keypad; 2. Checked the grounds inboth LS and RS A pillars; 3. Tested pins 5, 6, and 18 in connector C2280D for resistance (checked out okay), 4. Tested pins 5, 6, and 18 for no-resistance( 5 ohms or less) when keypad buttons were been pressed (checked out okay), 5. Checked fuses andall SJB connectors. Any ideas outside of replacing the SJB?
