I would trouble shoot and find out what is causing that fuse to blow. The interlock that lets you pull the gear selector out of park works on 12 volts when you press the brake. This could be your whole problem.

Did you ever get recall 05S28 done? If not, go unplug the pressure switch on the brake master cylinder and see if F34 quits blowing.

. I am trying to find the cause of blown fuses but cannot I have tested every wire in steering column and under dash. I will try to disconnect the cruise switch and see if that works. Thanks

. Yes the recall was fixed in 06. I am going to disconnect the cruise switch and see if that is the cause of fuses being blown. Will the cruise switch short and cause this to happen? Thank you for your help!

It can cause both your symptoms and is the most common.

I am going to disconnect the cruise switch and see if that is the cause of fuses being blown.
It will, of course, disable the cruise when disconnected but that's intentional in this case.

Yes the recall was fixed in 06
IIRC, some of the early recall harnesses were done wrong. you might have one.

well sorry for the delay on replies, i diconnected the cruise shut off switch at master cylinder and fuse stopped blowing out. and i can shift out of park. i took the wiring apart and the inline fuse was shattered and full off water. i cleaned all plugs and replaced the high amp inline fuse and plugged back together and the wiring harness started smoking so i disconnected it and left it disconnected, could not track the shoret down but i dont need cruise anyway... thanks for all of the help....
