Diesel coolant addictive and heater hose location
Hi, there,
I just bought a 1990 F250 Diesel, heard I need to pour some addictive to the coolant to prevent cynlinder wall cavitation, but I can't seem to find it in local auto parts stores. What brand is good and where can I find it?
I'm also trying to figure out the heater hoses -- which is supply and which is return.
Your help is greatly appreciated

Go to a Cummins distributor/dealer they have anti freezing/coolant additive very hight quality/long life the part number is CC28 something, sorry but this number is new, previously was CC2701. You can also get a Ford coolant.
About hoses, I don't remember exactly your engine conf. but usually hose comming from thermostat housing or cilinder head is supply to A/C heater and hose connected directly to water pump is return hose from A/C heater.
