Load Adjuster Shocks didn't fit
So I go to the local NAPA and pick up a full set of load adjuster shocks. These would be going on a 1994 F-150 XL 4x4. Fronts go on without a care. Get the driver side rear and Whoa!! the new shock doesn't fit. The clearance between the chassis and fuel tank makes the fit impossible. Had to return the shocks for standard gas. Anyone else have to deal with this or did I end up with a poorly jigged Monday/Friday truck? BTW, I am the original and only owner.

If the standard shocks fit I would guess that it was the wrong shock. Was it the width of the shock cylinder that was the issue? Out of curiousity are you talking about an adjustable shock like the Rancho 9000 series or an air adjustable shock. I've had both on my 1994 F150 XLT 4x4 with no fitment issues.
