Question of the Week: What do you want in the new Ranger?

Based on the contract discussions between Ford Motor Company and the UAW, it sounds like the Ford Ranger will be making a comeback here in the US, although no other information is available.

For our Question of the Week, we want to know whether you would like to see the Ranger that is currently sold in other markets around the world or would you prefer to see something more like the previous American Ranger, only more modern?

A guy can dream.

A small diesel offering, a 2.7L ecoboost, a full four door Screw model with at least a five foot bed and a myriad of gear ratio options.

Rear wheel drive. Something more akin to a Nissan Frontier than a Chevy Colorado.
Regular cab and four doors (seating 4).

X2

Absolutely NO BIGGER than the last rangers we had here in the United States.

I'll add keep the weight/size reasonable and good MPG number will be easy.

Diesel, and a dedicated work truck model. Rubber floor, manual windows, Cordura or similar material seats, something that can actually handle being used as a truck day in and day out for years.

What *I* want in a new (or old) Ranger would be one of these accessories:

And because I like "older women" and brunettes this too would be a VERY welcome addition:

I'd willingly accept either in any new Ford!

Those girls are wearing too much. Proper accessories shouldn't be accessorized themselves...........
