2001 f350 super duty 4x4
Hi, I'm Michael
I've just joined get
My problem started this morning going to work.
Truck was running great and all of a sudden started running rough, SOS light, of light flashing. Went to advance and checked codes and it was a p0720 = output shaft censor, went and bought censor from ford, installed it and still same problem and now it's still showing that code and p1316 and p1211. Don't know if codes are correct because I had codes checked at advance auto. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

You're going to need to have those codes retrieved.
P1211 is most probably attributed to the IDM as it refers to the ICP being out of range. Which, if there were a signaling interruption or issue, it would be present. Or, vice-versa.
Have you checked the #42 Pin Connector?, UVCH?, etc.?

I started to remove valve covers and check to see of they were plug in good. But if you shut the truck off and crank it back up it runs perfect for 10 to 15 seconds sometimes a little longer then it starts running rough, so it just seems weird to me that it would running perfect with a bad connection then all of a sudden running bad.
