1966 Front wheel hubs
Hello FTE
Had my 66 SWB for about 6 monthso now. Slowly but surely making progress. Finally got flex plate replaced a long with starter and fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor. Truck now starts up and runa consistently. 😊. So now time to work on soft brakes and missing luga out of both front hubs. And wouldn't you know it another lovely surprise. Either the lugs I got from Orielly'a are a smaller diameter or the few lugs in the hub are to large for hub. Basically the new ones slip right into hub and don't lock in because they are to small. I noticed on the back of the hub the lug holes are recessed. The new lug head fits into those recesses but the other old lugs and the cross threaded lug I knocked out of the hub do not. I'm thinking someone at some point for some unknown reason might have forced the wrong size lugs into hub making the hole out of shape. So I'm looking for some new hubs for my front end. I've looked online and saw another post with good old Numberdumby parts numbers with no luck. No of the yards around me have and old enough truck to steal new hubs from as well. So I'm looking for anyone who might have a pair of old ones for sale. Any help or point in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thank you.

The old studs should be pressed out, new studs pressed in.
Some people use a hammer, if the stud comes out catty-wampus, the holes in the hubs become elongated.
Ford did not sell the hub by itself, only available with the brake drum.
