EVAP Error P144C Purge Valve?
Hey guys. New to the site. My truck has been giving the code P144C. I searched around and found that it has to do with the EVAP system and possibly think that it's the purge valve, but not sure. I searched around on the forum, but couldn't find any threads associated to this specifically. I've got a 2012, F150, Ecoboost. Any suggestions? If it is the purge valve, anybody know the part number?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It's a solenoid valve associated the evaporation canister , typically located under your truck, drivers side just inside the frame rail at the drivers door. It's part of a large box like object, and should be easily visible , with an electrical connector on it at a 90deg angle. Get it replaced asap, its cheap, and takes 10mins to swap yourself. If this solenoid fails closed like mine did on a traded '10, the fuel tank cannot breathe properly and could be collapsed by the fuel pump (mine was) and it can damage fuel pump , sending unit etc. Your fuel gauge will not show proper level, and you may not be able to put in as much gas as before.

I have a 2012 F150 3.5 Ecoboost P144C code
Under normal lazy driving conditions all is good.
But when I’m ready to stomp on the accelerator the engine will sputter and check engine light flashes.
Then I’ll slow down in a limp a long mode and after a minute the check engine light will turn off.
I was in a minor accident where my trailer jackknifed into the drivers side rear quarter panel.
Do you think replacing the evaporation canister will fix this problem?
