15 years old and still love this truck
I do keep this truck garaged and well maintained but I cant get over how it still drives and looks like new. Yes I could go out and throw down $50k on a new f150 but after I drive this one I see no reason to. It's in retirement now; only put about 1,000 miles a year on it going to Home Depot and the dump and it stay's in the garage otherwise. I hope to keep this truck well into the "classic" status.
Me and my wife took it to the drive in last night and I wanted to share a few pics:
It's a 2000, Lariat 5.4/100% original/stock with 114k on the clock:

I would start a new thread if I were you. There are so many knowledgeable people on this website. Mine is the 5.4 L lariat super crew so I'm not sure how much carries over. Probably a lot of it and I have had zero problems with this truck.

I'm curious have you or any of you guys had issues with the rear half doors not seating properly unless you SLAM them hard? We've had this issue for the majority of the time we've owned our '99. Still breathes though (barely) never had many issues with it unless age and snow are part of it. Dang thing just will not die.

I have a 2003 F-150 XLT Crew cab with 81k miles on her. The past few years I have been putting less than 5k miles on her as we have a 3/4 ton diesel that is used for towing our boat. I do have a couple of light scratches here and there and some rust on the rear passenger door where the weather stripping is located.
I have an 8 year old son so he may be driving it in another 8 years, yikes.
