95 f150 cutting out

Got a 95 f150 with a 4.9l 5 speed. When you start to pull out or back up and give it gas and let out on the clutch the truck die's or hesitates pretty badly, but once your pulled out it doesn't miss or hesitate at all. It runs great. Starts right up and idles smooth, no jerks or misses, just does it when your trying to get pulled out. I've done the whole tune up, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button, new coil, and fuel filter. The truck isn't throwing any codes, only code is throws is the system good code. I just put a can of seafoam in the gas. Someone mentioned checking the fuel pressure. I haven't gotten to that yet. I don't even do it when the engine is lugging up a hill in a high gear.

Check your MAP sensor on the passenger side firewall.

If it was the map sensor wouldn't it throw a code and the check engine light be on?

. Not necessarily. It might just be dirty. Just use compressed air or can of electrical component cleaner. Here's the stats for fuel pressure:Engine Running 45-60 psi
Key ON Engine OFF 50-60 psi

Sounds like your EGR is letting in to much air. You could try going to the hardware store, buy a washer that is 3/4" OD and 1/8" ID, break the nut loose from the EGR tube and body, the washer should fit in between them pretty good, button it back up and give it a try. The last 6cyl I owned was an 88 F150, but I had heard from 92-95 these truck had a problem with hesitation and that was the fix for the home mechanic because Ford refused to restrict the EGR.

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem with my 1995 f150 4.9 only mine does it after leaving work after it sits , it'll hesitate upon acceleration right out of the parking lot but I can give it more gas and it clears up. I've replaced spark plugs, tps, cleaned iac, cleaned air filter, smelt the fuel pressure regulator for leaking gas, and recently the fuel filter (it didn't do it for about a 3 wks now it's doing it again.. Did you find an answer?
