Metal in fuel filter!

Metal in fuel filter!
long story short....
Had a HPFP failure in Pennsylvania in April. Ford dealer replaced only the HPFP. Not the entire fuel system. Found no metal in system. Cleaned injectors, flushed lines.
Now 14k later I have a loss of power and metal in the fuel filter.
No local Vermont dealer will help, saying they should've replaced entire system.
Pennsylvania dealer offering to replace HPFP again as its under warranty. Not helpful.
Anyone have suggestions?
And what besides the HPFP could be shedding metal into system?
Thanks

I could be wrong but fuel gets returned to the tank. So, any metal frags in fuel get sent to the tank along with it. Dealer should have removed tank and flushed it out along with all fuel lines. I think the complete job is new injectors and pump and completely flushing the fuel system, including the tank. My guess is that the dealer missed metal frags in fuel from failed pump. Take it back.
