Today I discovered that the seats that were in my bronco belonged to a van. The previous owner drilled new holes into the floor bored and rigged them up. I threw them out because they were nasty. Does anyone know where I could get original bronco seats for my truck? I am looking for cheap and in decent shape. I have looked at junk yards, but a lot are super nasty... I just want some in decent shape with brackets/tracks and recoverable maybe.

If you find a decent pair in the junkyard, then you could bring em to an upholsterer and get then to do exactly what you want (new foam/pattern, leather?)

 

When I had mine reupholstered, they swapped the foams from passenger side to drivers, etc. The passenger side gets a lot less use. And the reglued wear portion from the drivers side ends up on the inner bolster where it does not get much pressure.

But, to have them done in original fabric (XLT Tan) and such costs almost as much as ones from the supplier above ...

 

No suggestions beyond the junkyard or some take outs on Craigslist. If I recall anything from 73 to 96 from a truck or 78 up on a Bronco will work as long as you get all of the seat tracks and hardware. Flip over to the 73-79 truck section on FTE and they have lots of tips about the years of parts that will swap around on all of the Fords from 73 to 96.
