anyone in sw manitoba can lend me a hand?

Sorry to bother every one. I'm wondering if anyone has a code reader I can use for my 1997 7.3l. And a boost leak tester as well? I'm blowing more black smoke than I'd like. And my ebpv keeps closing when I stop at stop signs when it's like plus 35 Celsius. I'd just like to know if it's bad sensors or mechanical. Thanks for any help
I live in southwestern manitoba I don't mind driving to your place for your help at all

You should just be able to unplug it and it will be fine. It is a two wire plug under the intake side of the turbo.

What Gabe said. That should take care of the ebpv. I'm in the Brandon area, but don't get on here very often. I do have a code reader if you still wanna check those out.

Alright I've unplugged the wire. Looks like I might need something new there some point in time or just never plug it back in again. But it worked. Think I'm going to wire back the valve too. I always read about unplugging it but for some reason everytime I was under the hood I'd forget about it but thanks for the tip. I live in rapid city so not a far drive at all to brandon. If you have some free time and willing to use your code reader on my truck that'd be much appreciated. Looks like my fuel leak is back again. Going to have to look into that. Probably needs a new fuel pump. Wish I had more money haha everything would be fixed all at once

Fuel leak may be the lines to and from the pump and not the pump itself. But, it could still be the pump. As for code reader, I'm home most evenings if you happen to be in town. I'll pm my number
