how many many miles on your Diesel?

2004 Ford Van E350 Super Duty XLT

2004 Ford Van E350 Super Duty XLT - $3500 (Monterey)

For Sale is a very well-maintained 2004 Ford full-size extended cab commercial E350 Super Duty Van with the turbo diesel engine. This van was previously owned by Monterey Airbus who logged a lot of miles on the vehicle, but serviced it regularly and had everything done to it. It has new tread on the tires and has been used a LOT up to the time when we took ownership of it. It is designed to be a 15-passenger van, but came with the back bench missing. Thus, it only seats 11. Everything works fine on the van, but as a non-profit school, our insurance company will not allow us to transport students in this van anymore - even though we only used it to transport them locally. So, we have used it to only move "stuff." Hate to sell this van, but we know it can be used by someone. The engine still runs strong. A/C and everything still works fine. As the pictures show, driver seat is torn, but the support is still there. I would not recommend for long drives, though. There is an issue with the sliding door because a bolt is missing or something. It closes, but at times it needs alignment (which we do without tools). There are scrape marks along the right side (see pictures). It has (get ready for this) 777,6xx miles! But, the van is still very strong! No engine leaks! If interested, come check it out for yourself! I put in all the specs into KBB, and for the year, miles and "fair" rating, retail price is $8464 while private party is $4940. The discounted price reflects the issues I mentioned. Sold as is. But, truly, the best thing about this van is the unbelievable reliability of the diesel engine!

I would have thought KBB would give it a negative value at over 700K miles

I've never trusted the KBB valuations so maybe that's just one more good reason?
