330 m/d oil capacity.

Hey, I am trying to find an engine oil dipstick for a 1976 F500 with a 5.4L 330m/d engine. Or easier yet, if someone knows what the oil capacity is supposed to be, I found a universal dipstick that has an adjustable stopper (the part that sits on top of dipstick tube) so I can just drain the oil and refill with proper amount of oil and set the dipstick to that mark.

My 73 F-600 held 9 quarts if I rember right, but it has been several years since I had that truck.

Page 50-21-8 of the 1976 Ford truck shop manual says that the 330 engine in the F-500 has a crankcase approximate capacity of 8 U.S. quarts (or 6-1/2 Imperial quarts). Add 1 quart extra when changing the oil filter. If this doesn't work, I could search for a part number, but the exact part might be harder to find.
