I purchased PowerSlot rotors and their pads about 2 1/2 years ago and the rotors are already warped and I have that shimmy upon applying my brakes, which sucks.

I dont drive with a lead foot so I know its not me, this started to happen 6-9 mos ago so I know its not improper bedding.

The pads dont give off much dust at all and I noticed faster grabbing early on after installing but the rotors not lasting couple years before they warped is lame.

I rather replace these soon but wondering what is best? Should I go back to OEM, they didnt shimmy at all, more brake dust and slower braking distances but they were smooth.

What are you guys using with good success? I do plan on towing approx 3000lb boat.

Who tightened the lug nuts last? Often the inconsistent torquing of them is the cause more than the brand of rotor.

 

I had rotors and pads installed by indy on all 4. I would hope they know what theyre doing and not over torque the bolts. But who ever knows right?

Still plan on replacing rotors...wonder if I can keep the same pads on since they work well?
