Where to find Race Track Trim Molding
I've scoured every junkyard in nearby counties and I can't find useable trim for a 79 ford longbox. I know i need the two longer box pieces and the 2 at the back that loop up to connect with the top trim and possibly a couple others. The only aftermarket i found are on LMK truck but they are $200 EACH!
My husband rebuilt a 79 F-250 and i wanted to get him the trim for our anniversary. If anyone can help i would appreciate it! i've tried craigslist and Ebay.

Where are you located?? I'm pretty sure I have both of the upper box pieces, & both of the lower box pieces. I also have the front fender pieces upper & lower, doors upper, & cab corners upper.
I don't currently have the pieces that connect the lower & upper pieces at the rear.
Problem is, these are just about impossible to ship since they are so long. I'm a little north of Pittsburgh Pa, if you're close we can work something out on picking them up.

WI is the home state, have you joined your local state chapter and asked here for a lead on some? Wisconsin Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
If reproduction companies sale it and ship it...it can be done. But yes it is a PITA.

I looked around for the rear moldings that connect the loops and the salvage yards were picked clean. I actually found two NOS pieces for $60.00. As a last resort, I checked with Fordparts.com and my local Ford dealer and they located the parts for me on their parts system. I wanted NOS and try to avoid the after market. They ended up being cheaper than the after market and original. Have the part number handy when you call the dealer.
