1959 4X4 restoration.
Todays work.
Got the carb back on and rigged a source for fuel (old lawn mower tank) with hose to fuel pump. Tested the coil and spark wires, installed new points. Filled the carb bowl and sprayed a little fuel past the choke. With wife dodging the red wasps that took up residence just above the ignition switch she hit start and after 20 years of sitting the old girl roared to life. (The truck that is). Now that I know it will run, I took off all of the rotten hoses and belt, sent radiator to shop for cleaning and generator to shop for overhaul.
Wee, I'm on my way.
