warm up truck or with load filter light comes on loss of power.
I need part# for fuel line "olives" as I'm going to replace lift pump , as the OME IS STILL ON TRUCK ..
I heard the pump arm may be different , is this a real issue?

What year is it, and what has been done to address the problem so far?

welcome to FTE
you don't need olives for lift pump replacement.

and the angle of the arm is not important as long as you install it properly. i tip the arm down towards the pan when i put the pump in, then put the housing flush with the block to make sure the arm ends up under the eccentric. if you just stuff the pump in flush with the block there is a chance the arm can go over it and that will bend the arm.

What he said ---^
I had the same problem, then the lift pump completely crapped out on me.

Its a pretty easy job. Also, when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?

need help have a 7.3 idi non turbo replaced all 8 glow plugs, all fuel return fuel lines and o-ring replaced fuel lift pump replaced fuel shut off solenoid two glow plug relays was starting if I turned it on cold would start. once hot just would not. I found a site said pour water on fuel shut off valve if started need a new fuel shut off valve. I did and it started went and bought a new fuel shut off valve. now it wont even start turns on and off no throttle response. just got this rig a have just replaced the vacuum pump all six tires suppose to take this ride to a church camp but it just doesn't want to cooperate. I have 12 volts at the glow plug constant hot, and when I turn ignition the red wires light up both of them I have power at the fuel shut off solenoid and at the cold start advance solenoid and have fuel injection solenoid. what I don't have is power coming from the blue wire that lights up the wait to start lamp. I have rechecked the glow plugs they are good they light with the test light I tried testing when ignition turns on no power from that blue wire for that wait to start lamp could this cause a start for a second and turn off and I mean a second sounds like not enough fuel but I have fuel. I just replaced this fuel shut off valve drove about ten miles and now it just wont start what I did notice when I was on the test drive that. the wait light had stayed on the whole time now it wont start could I have burnt the controller box that sits on the under the relay. would that cause a no start. or a spontaneously start and off issue. please help.
