Have you checked fuse #30 under the dash? I would replace that anyway even if it looks good just to rule it out. This fuse gives the pcm power and also the fuel heater.
First, I would unplug the fuel heater before you turn the key on, they have been known to short out and keep blowing the #30 fuse, therefore killing the pcm power. Here is a picture of the plug:
The white plug
The guys on here know a lot about these trucks and there shouldn't be the need to take the truck to a shop for a no start. More people will be in here soon to help you out, don't fret.

Is your tach showing any movement when you turn the engine over?
There is also a PCM diode that you should check. It should be in the fuse box under the hood in the extreme bottom right hand side of the fuse box that is closest to the front of the truck.
Check this thread for the picture and other fuses to check:

Do you have any way of monitoring ICP, IPRDC, etc?
Are you chipped/tuned or stock?

Yes I am chipped/tuned but it is unplugged atm

Do you have. California emissions truck?
The only real difference in a 48 state emissions truck and a Cali emissions truck is the flow plug control circuit.
The 49 State federal truck uses a GPR ( glow plug control relay) the Cali trucks and all excursions use a GPCM (glow plug control module).
The reaso. I bring this up is normally not wait to start light (WTS) means the powertrain control module (PCM) is not powering up. I am not sure if a Cali emissions truck will still throw a WTS if the PCM is dead.
Search on this site for GPR and GPCM to help identify which one you have.

I'm assuming this is NOT a CA Vehicle AND has an A/T
The GPR is Ground Switched by the PCM at Key-On.
A no WTS is an indication the PCM is not getting 12 vdc OR the PCM is damaged.
Fuse #30 is often the culprit as the Fuel Bowl Heater shorts out due to corrosion and debris in the fuel bowl.
If you did anything with the Key-On with the Chip, Electrical Connections, or other type of work, there is a probability that the PCM has Shorted.
Back-Probe Pin#71, if there is system voltage with the Key-On, the PCM is suspect.
