!965 Ford F100 ride quality (possible solution)

Hello to all,

I contacted DJM Suspensions today and discussed the rough ride.

1. The truck has 3 inch drop beams with DJM1415 front shocks.

2. The rear is lowered using a flip kit and DJM 1800 shocks

The engineering people at DJM indicated that as long as I was using a stock front spring and a standard rear leaf spring ----- they think the problem is the flip kit. When I installed it I did not install a " C Notch Kit." They think the axle housing is bottoming out on the rebound rubber.

They also indicated that the drop beam is designed to work optimally with their 4inch rear hanger shackle kit. (DJM part #HS1130-4) ------ not the flip kit.

I ordered one and will see if that improves the ride. They said that if I continued to have issues let them know and they will work with me.

In all aspects my dealing with DJM Suspension was very good. I will follow up on the post when I install the hanger and shackle kit. I am posting a side view of the truck and then another after the changes
