Parker's Praire Panel - Gary Sisson is a Movie Star

You guys know Gary Sisson for is '59 F-350, but over on the '47 and under forum we've been waiting, popcorn in hand, for the release of the professionally produced video of the rebirth of his '47 one ton panel. So here it is. Thought you guys would enjoy seeing it too. Stu

Thanks for posting this Stu... I hope the guys understand I wouldn't pay actual money to have a video about myself. Geoff who made this is a Hollywood cinematographer who I do a lot of work for on his vacation home on the island. He made it for me because he thought it would be fun to do. He is a really nice guy and loves his craft.

LOVE the gas can wired to the side of the truck! And the "board" boards look great.

Thanks to Stu for linking this video to the 3 oldest truck forums on FTE. I have made lots of friends on these forums and I wanted to share it with all, but alas, I'm still having problems linking it on my email to my 'civilian' friends. I also tried to post it on the fordbarn because there are tons of older truck lovers there. I'm not exactly a 'regular' there and have certainly not gotten the overwhelmingly warm reception there that I have on the good old FTE. MY home!

Great vid Gary. I love the old panel. When I was kid growing up here in Spokane my uncle worked for one of the electrical companies in town. I can remember him driving a few different panel trucks home. Two that stand out were an old Ford that was 4wd. The other was a regular Chevy 2wd panel. The Ford was an late 40s early 50s and the Chevy was definitely early 50s. I always like the looks of them. Seeing this panel brought back some old memories thank you.

If anyone could put the board back in running board, it would be Gary. It looks like a real working truck - great job.

Bet it looked like this. There appear to have been quite a few of these Marmon-Herrington panel trucks in the fleet of the utility company. Stu
