Just scored a 82 Bronco

Hello everyone, I've been looking for a relatively cheap project while i collect all my parts for my 93 Cobra, every time i order one i cry a little due to the cost of building a forged internals, supercharged, 331 stroker based on a new Ford Racing Boss 302 block but anyways I've been on the hunt for a 78-79 Bronco because i have always loved them but I'm not into the cost of building a healthy 400 or even a 460 swap and building that up so i decided on a bullnose Bronco from 82-86. Well i found a rust free 82 Bronco with a tired and pathetic 302 so now my plan is to build a 393w with cast stroker kit, off the shelf cam, aluminum heads and intake and a new C-6 from TCI. My question is who has preformed the straight axle swap on their 80s Broncos and was it worth the time and money to you and what don't you like and like about about it. Thanks
