Hoses, Thermostat, get a billet upper hose mount - don't overtorque the bolts on the mount especially if you use antisieze. Consider replacing the lower hose mount, they get rusty, might as well start fresh with that too.
Check to see if the lower hose mount is the straight or the bent one and make sure you get the matching lower hose.
For the upper hose consider getting the dual alternator one that goes around the belt.
Fresh Coolant, see the Gooch radiator thread. You can read up on ELC coolant and see if that's something you want to consider too (There are some trucks that are not compatible so make sure you have that squared away if you decide to go the ELC route).

Be careful removing clutch/fan. Easily puts a hole in rad. If the clutch wont release from the shaft, you can remove pump and clutch with fan attached. I had to do this yesterday and radiator had to come out as well. Pulled impeller off and used pipe wrench on shaft to loosen it.
One other thing, zerex G05 is the same as Ford Gold. If you change the coolant, make sure to flush and let thermostat open so water jackets get flushed too!

Everything you wanted to know about coolants, back-flushing, water pump removal, and other peripheral subjects like thermostats and housings.

SO when you did the IH water pump replace, other than replacing the heater hose part how was the new bottom hose. Which one did you use and have any issues with the bottom hose.. I saw a post that was saying to cut 1 1/2" off the hose to shim the difference.. two hose clamps to make sure no leaks and change filter after 3000 miles.
any pictures of your install. ??

I Just replaced mine a few months ago. Hardest part was taking off the fan clutch. I'd suggest using an air hammer to spin the nut off. I tried the tools from autozone and the f@wkin sucked d!ck. Air hammer and it was off in seconds. Also make sure you get the mounting surface on the front cover extremely clean so everything seals up.

You're in luck!
I think these guys have set you up good. Just about everything is mentioned.
I would just suggest to replace everything rubber and a new Thermostat & Housing as they are flimsy and often leak afterward. Although, a thin bead of RTV works well.
As long as you're ordering parts..... Make sure the lower neck will disconnect so you don't get halfway through and discover you need one.
Good Luck!

I bought the lower hose, 205 thermostat, housing and pump from them, but they were out of the upper pipe. So, I sourced the around the belt pipe from somewhere else.
As for the lower hose fitting, it went on fine and is still working as intended. I just returned from a 7K mile cross country trip towing my travel trailer and the water pump did very well. No shimming, no adjusting, just installed it.

hey whitey
not trying to "save a buck" on the pump just trying to go back to what the engine manf OEM'ed on the deal..
I plan to flush and got 5 gallons of Rotella ELC to boot. the ford pump is a good one but IH but something a bit more heavy duty on them for a reason or 2.
One, is better bearings, 2 is ability to filter the mess out.
but thanks for your concern. and i guess i will regret it along with the rest of the guys that have changed out the pumps and have no issue thus far, but you never know right..
