Anyone lift their 6.2 sd
Looking to lift my 2012 f250 with the 6.2. I see I may run into some install issues with front drive shaft. Not sure if I want a 4 inch with 35 or a 6 with 37s. I do a 6 with 35s but tires would look way too small I think. What did you guys do to resolve the issue? I already have my sct tuner with a 5 star tune ready to drop in after I lift. It's a shame my 2012 f150 with a six inch lift and 35s sits higher then my stock sd does.

Looks great I can't get this app I'm using to load a photo of mine. I have the same truck as you but I'm just 4x4 I didn't buy the fx this time around. Why the new track bar? What kind of economy are you getting with those 35s. Currently I'm getting just shy of 15mpg

Replaced the track bar to fix the death wobble from lifting the truck, apparently getting an alignment shop to add more caster than the book says is not allowed... currently I'm running a k&n cold air intake, and a true cat back dynamax exhaust, and I can't remember off the top of my head but i think my gears are 3.73 and I average around 11-12 mpg. I don't like how my tires reacted with the gearing of the truck. I want go do a 5 star tuner but was unsure of actual gains. But I think I'm going to do a 5 star for the transmission shift changes and try the tunes out.
Also as far a fuel economy goes I haul everyday a 110 gal diesel tank, tool box stacked with tools and machine control equipment for a dozer, gas air compressor, 5 gallons oil, 5 gallons antifreeze, and grading laser and equipment in the cab.

The 5star tune will wake your truck from a deep slumber. I have always lost about 1mpg using the tuner but with such a difference in how it drives add responds it's well worth it. Mike at 5star will answer any question you have. I never believed in the tunes until I tried them.
