Hello everyone.
I need your help. I have a 76 f250 with a freshly rebuilt 390 FE in it. I need it going for this Saturday, and the final parts that I've been waiting on got lost in the mail. The parts are the spacers to go between the rocker arms on the rocker arm shaft. I need a really quick, cheap, and easy way to get the rockers made up, just temporarily until I can get my spacers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Why would you risk a Half baked solution on a fresh motor? Why can't you just wait for the right parts to come in, instead of potentially ruining your motor. I wouldn't risk it.....jut my 2 cents
The only reason is that I need it done by Saturday and it would take another week and a half to have replacement spacers shipped. Unless UPS can find them and get them to me in time, I'm SOL on that.
The springs were broken when I pulled them out of the engine, but I found aluminum spacers to replace them. I do have the washers and everything for the ends, it's just the replacements for the springs that I am missing
