Who has installed the K&N 77-2570KTK on their van? Or maybe the AFE intake system?

I see them saying they are compatible with engines other than the 4.6.

Well I have a 4.6 and want to know if its adaptable. All the parts *look* like they should fit, and the installation instructions definitely work for my model.

I already have a K&N filter in my intake system but would like to upgrade further. Has anyone confirmed gains from these kits?

 

That looks like a great upgrade, but what about just cutting a big hole in the top of your existing airbox? You already have the K&N filter.

Might work....

Of course, YMMV. Literally.

 

I built a cold air system for my 96. I didn't notice any improvement. I prefer the "4 bbl" intake noise without the cold air system
