hello, I have a ford mondeo estate. Glow plug light flashes intermittently, usually if I accelerate up a hill but stops when engine turns off and on again. Had code read and garage said its turbo boost sensor and costs 1200 to replace. But he has a friend who might be able to do something other than replace it for a lot less. I don't know what he means. Help
