Trailer connector-no brakes or turn signals

Hooked up to my trailer and I have running lights but no turn signals, brake lights, or trailer brakes. I pulled plugged in my other vehicle to the trailer and everything works fine.

My truck is a 2011 with the factory trailer brake control and pigtail connection. It worked fine last year.

I checked the connector with a test light and there is only power to the running lights. I then disconnected the plug at the back of the trailer connector and tested there and got the same results.

Are there particular fuses or relays I should look at?

thanks

On a truck with the factory trailer tow package there are separate fuses for the trailer plug in the fuse box under the hood.I would check those first.Did you tow another trailer that could of had wiring issues?

We ran into a situation like this on my friends trailer. Fortunately, the problem was in fact a blown fuse. I believe they are located under the hood, as said above. Use the manual to locate.

The fuse box under the hood is called the power distribution box in the manual. It should tell you which fuses run each item.

Well the lights issue is taken care of. It was a blown fuse in the distribution box (fuse #73).

However my brake issue still remains. The brake actuator acts like it is giving the brakes a full "10". It shows on the trucks gauge panel and acts like the brakes are working fine. However there is no brake actuation that I can detect. I pulled the emergency cable and the trailer brakes locked up, so the trailer brakes are working up to that point.

Any ideas?
