97 7.3L Transformation Tuesday

Well, I have saved another blue oval. This truck was purchased by my dad in 97 new. It has been sitting at the farm, wasting away. This ol girl has 104K original miles and purrs so beautiful.

Transformation Tuesday. I have removed the tool box and headache rack. I am going to remove the bedliner and have a newer type of bedliner since it had been installed at the dealership in 1997.

I'll have to take your work for it. The pictures aren't working for me.

Well, 105,157.5 to be exact, but who's counting. My dad took care of this old truck and now I am going to keep it on the road. It will be my tow rig.

new windshield and tint done. Coming together really nice. Any one have recommendations on better clutch for Manual Trans? This one is fine but could be replaced.

New clutch with only 105 k ?? When the time comes get a single mass one not the ford stock dual mass.... I used a South Bend, organic/ferris iirc and it's a bit grabby at times, say reverse backing up hill. Think it's rated for 450 hp, think it kinda depends on your HP wants too.

Nice rig btw...
