Sounds a bit like the general consensus is to keep away from them due to possible horror stories type situation....or at least that they are possibly "not as great/good as RiffRaff" based on the posts I have read about them thus far.....is this anywhere near an accurate statement?

Not sure about the first part of that statement....

But after meeting Clay in person and hearing some of the stories, I don't think you could ever find a company with customer service as good as RiffRaff.

I will say Thoroughbred caters to all makes and models....RiffRaff appears to cater to only Ford products.

Well took about 30 or so and got a lot of work done on the truck, Black Friday also helped, but got the AIS installed, wipers changed for winter, and the dome/map lights converted to LED, so it's been good

Between the LED lights, no, the middle light is an eBay light I had in my previous truck but as for the incandescent bulbs, huge improvement, see first post for the interior light (main dome), I will snap a pic of the map lights here soon

Well the Mule A.K.A "Stinky Jr." (Other half named it after Tuggly's truck due to the stink it gives off when idling/running) is going to get a "new" cup holder to replace the broken POS!

well the "new" cup holder came and I worked up the nerve to work on the truck (after having my Mustang hit yesterday...but thats another topic...) anyways the old broken one (and IMO bad design) is OUT...the new one is in, and here are the pics....

to replace it for those wanting to do this and are not sure, you need to start by removing the piece in this photo, mine happens to be the ash tray (just push down on the top tab thing)

Out it goes, then that will reveal 4 screws (7MM)

then once the metal piece is gone, theres two screws on front (behind the cup holder pull out thing) and there are two inside where the metal ash tray holder thing was) to put it in its the reverse opperation of removal.

Here are some pics of it in, and the nice thing is it looks like its been there the entire life of the truck, so that is very nice!

Sorry, I didn't get a part number for it but I hope you guys enjoy!!

Nice cup holder! I need to replace mine. The one in the truck is junk and does not hold anything when turning corners. If someone comes up with a part number or link that would be nice.
My truck has the front bench seat with fold down armrest. I have seen some with a cup holder built into the lid. Can I replace the lid on that?
