Looking good my friend! Keep up the good work one step at a time.

It's always a good feeling to have it nice and tidy especially when you are doing it.

Keep the pics rolling on in!

Not quite, the tube from air box to CCV thing is incorrect so I need to place an order to riffraff for the one that will fit, that is planed for some time either this coming week or next week after payday

Also found part of the dash bezel is broken/cracked so time to look for a new replacement...

Well if I need more than the AIS can offer that will be the next way to go, for now I'm just trying to get the truck to be 100% healthy first

Well I decided to begin the led conversion of the dash, the images are what I plan to use, and are copyright of the respective owner(s)

Not looking forward to the price tag of $74.65 but to up date the truck and have visible gauges at night....priceless

Ok, decided to begin preparing for the AIS install and determined the sensor in the stock air box was just a bit dirty and possibly robbing the truck of its MPGs a bit...so I cleaned it up, may still replace it with new...

Well decided to start tackling the isue of not having bright enough gauges at night/mornings when driving with lights on, really more to solve not being able to see the mileage bit clearly, but meh, started the retrofit today, thinking I should have bought the 194 LEDS all at once (only got three as I was not sure if it was 5 or 6 total) but meh what ever, I got the first three in with out issue. at least until the blasted PRND21 indicator....I dred pulling out the cluster again for the rest but what ever, I may just do the primary gauges for now and leave the rest of the bulbs for later....

anyways here are some pics

The big black holder are the 194 asnd the smaller tan ones are 74 sized bulbs

Well after sitting about an hour and debating on if I should complete the task or leave it half stockies and 3 LEDs I decided to hell with it and went and got the final two bulbs from Autozone (I calculated the cost of bulbs and shipping verses getting these from work and it more or less was a wash out and these were already marked so I could tell where the positive (hot) side was and where the negitive (earth) side was, and I figured these would be all the same and simpler to work with so I got them, they were $12.99 a piece but super bright wanted about $7 some change for each but would heave done about $5 for shipping for my order, so if I had ordered the bulbes in at least two groupings this would still be some what of a wash....oh and I get employee discount on the bulbs anyways so I did not pay full price anyways....

Here is the before and after photos...I know they arn't very glamourous but hey after fighting like I did I am quite happy its all together and working!

BEFORE: (stock)

AFTER: (LEDs installed and all functioning)

Well I decided to place a small order with RiffRaff and give them a try for some items for my truck, figure I will start small and get the AIH delete kit and wire for it, decided to do the plug its self and may order the turbo one at a later time if I need a boost gauge down the road...also figured I might as well as give there customer service a try
