Well after a day of work and just plain crappy weather and the help of a few folks who assisted with installation (and soldering of the harness for the radio) we got the fog lamp/bar thing installed...

It would of looked better on that bottom slot, just under the liscence plate.

What's the new craze with these LED light bars anyway? Always makes me think of KITT on Knight Rider. I do agree with Adam though. Put it in that bottom slot.

I put it there just for now as I only use it if I need the extra light as work/scene flood light if I really need it, I may still move it to the bottom, I also am thinking of getting a off road style bumper so it may still get moved.

well while I had a nice 70* day (cool one) I went a head and removed the crappy fiberglass thing that was starting to fall appart and possibly become a hazard, and started looking into the radio install also, still working on getting the Noco plug thing installed, but need to find a 2" bit

Well I think I am going to put all projects on the back burner as my truck got broken into...I'm starting to think that perhaps either android tablets are bad luck for me or the Ford brand is bad luck or a higher target....the tablet I was using for the in truck telematics via torque was stolen, this is the second android device that has been removed from my possession of me and my truck...oddly enough they left the kenwood radio in its box alone...but what ever...now to figure out a way to fix the problem...and come up with a solution...

I suspect they "bumped the lock" it was unlocked this morning even tho I locked it last night, good news has come of this though, a neighbor was able to successfully recover the device and return it to me! How ever the lock will need replacing but that is easy I guess.

well its a good thing I didn't get them first...they would be learning the hard way why it never pays to be a thief, I did tell the police that if they find someone and link them to any crimes in the area im in I wanted to press charges aginst them to the fullest extent of the law...

I caught a thief breaking into our garage one night. Told him I was military, knew my way around the 9mm I was holding and I knew what the gun laws in Georgia were and if he tried anything I would kill him where he stood and still sleep in my own bed. Of course, I didn't want to hurt the man, but I was not going to let him harm me or my family.

I held him at gun point for 45 minutes until the sheriff could get there. He had several priors and got 20 years with a minimum of 10. One was assault on a police officer with a knife...

It is only a matter of time before they get caught.

It is sound reasoning to give a criminal an out before dispatching them and I would do so with clarity as Sous recalled from his experience. Although, unless recorded, who would know? Another topic but worthy of a little sidebar.

Well if I had caught the thief(s) there out would have been either in the back of a police car, or paying for damages to my truck plus the tablet (or cost of the tablet) and then a trip in the back of a police car and if they were young enough a call to there parents...
