Got the windshield tinted. Next up is new tires all around. Currently they are 235/85/16s, fronts are dry rotted bad, backs are decent but different brands in front and back so i figured id just get 6 new ones and start fresh. Plus i want 315/75/16s on the stock wheels for a more aggressive stance.
Then down the road i think I'll do some new lights and front end upgrades. For now I'm loving it as a daily!
Oh yea i have an mbrp 4" turbo back straight pipe i ordered that my buddy is gonna help me install soon also.

I forgot what my tinter uses, i believe its the 3m ceramic you mentioned.
If you do a light shade on the windshield, its not hard to see at night. Mine is as its 5%, but I've been driving this way for 11 years now so I'm very used to it. I love it bc of the Florida sun and heat, and also it just looks badass on any car with blacked out windows all around.

Took these a few weeks ago one morning really early. Edited them with the "Snapseed" app. I thought I had posted them, guess not, so here they are. I think they look badass with the HDR filters!
Took this earlier this evening.
Original:
Edited:
Just an HDR filter applied to the pic i posted the other day.
And last but definitely not least, posted up in front of my aunts new house, next to her range rover.

Nothing major, just a few small updates/fixes.
Both pieces broke off when i bought the truck so i took the ones off my beater 99 f250 that im selling. Gotta paint them.
My buddy is gonna try and buff/paint correct this, eventually i may paint it all but for now im gonna try and make it look the best i can.
The truck has 235/85/16s on it, but the fronts were incredibly dry rotted. I was scared to keep driving on them, and i haven't made up my mind yet on what 6 new tires i want to order yet. So i got 2 front tires to hold me over a month or two until i order 6 new matching tires. They're a little bigger, 265/75/16s, and they are passenger tires, but they're up front and like i said a month, two max. They were free anyhow.
I was gonna go with some 9.00-16 bias plys, but after reading reviews i decided not to. I want to eventually lift it and do 37x12.50s, but for now i cant afford that. So im leaning towards 315/75/16s, after seeing these 265/75s on the stock wheels, i like how the wider tire looks a lot!

Oh yea, can you run those spike looking lugs on the front stock wheels and leave the center cap off? Do they look stupid on the stock wheels?
and if i run 315/75s, i know ill need rear spacers, but i read i also need to level the front. How high is a "level" kit? Can i get away with a front shackle lift until the next set of tires is needed, at which point i can lift it for 37s with a suspension lift?

Couple of my buddies already gave me crap for this lol, but i like it. I bought my truck to use as a truck, i still try to keep it clean but im not gonna worry if it gets scratched etc, and i want everything to be functional too. Just the other day i could have used this carrying 16ft 2 bys back from home depot, instead of out the bed, i could have leaned them against this headache rack and strapped them down. Now i can. Got it for 75 bucks, sounded like a good deal.
I did have to take the chrome bed rails off, they were in the way, I'm may try and redrill holes to move it a few inches so it fits, but i may leave them off. I liked them, but they also were for a short bed, because when i bought the truck there was a toolbox on the bed also, which i removed. May get longbed rails instead depending on price.
Also washed it today. From a distance it looks great, but up close theres scratches and scuffs all over. Im sure my buddy can detail it and perform his "paint correction" steps, and remove a majority of the imperfections, but there's still a handful of scratches on it that won't be able to be buffed out. I'm fine with it though as i mentioned, bought her to use as a truck and a daily. My excursion is my non haul anything with it truck, other than tow bc that wont scratch or dirty up the truck.

these are pics i found on google, but mine should be here soon. i searched all over for pics and these were the only 2 i could find of gray leather with a black bin and with a gray bin. couldn't decide what color i wanted, and also du-ha offered 2 different gray colors, so knowing my luck, i would have ordered one and it wouldn't have matched. after seeing these 2 pics though (not sure which gray is pictured below), i just decided to go with black, to me it blends better with the seat brackets.
i never use the OEM metal tray, granted i've only had the truck 3.5 months, i used it once just because, and to me it's not very useful. i know some people love them, i can see how they'd work for some people though. it's for sale/trade, if interested just shoot me a PM. local (tampa florida) would be best, but i won't mind shipping, at buyers expense of course. i cant wait for the du-ha to come in so i have an out of sight place to store my drills/hand tools that i usually carry with me for whatever i may need them for, as well as straps jumper cables etc.
im still toying with ideas for a storage system for behind the seat. not sure if im going to shift the rear bench forward like i planned, or not. not likely to now, since the du-ha i think will give me a good amount of storage space, so i won't need all the room i was thinking i wanted behind the seat.
