What size impact wrench for lug nuts on 99 F250?
Looking at getting an air compressor and assorted tools for the home shop and looking for input on what size/torque.
For the impact wrench 3/4 or 1/2?
For the impact wrench how much torque? I see 200, 400, 800 ft/lb models.
How much torque do I need for the toughest bolts on the SuperDuty?
The air compressor I'm looking at is a Makita 3hp 5.2 gallon rated 6.5 CFM at 90 PSI.

I have a 1/2 Central Pneumatic Earth Quake- It takes lug nuts right off- When putting them back on I have different torque settings - I always do the lightest one first & then go to the second - I finish with a torque wrench- It is rated at 700 max ft. lbs.- I got it at harbor freight on sale with coupon for about 80 bucks - I don't use it every day for a living so it does a good job for the little I use it.

I picked up a set of those from HF. Surprisingly they are very accurate a few pounds light compared to my torque wrench.
