Hey out there, my name is Tim. I bought a 1983 F100 XLT and it will be the start of a mild retoration. I am currently having it looked at by my mechanic and should get the details today. But the first thing I want to tackle is a gearbox exchange. I believe it has the New Process 4 speed gearbox in it. It currently pops out of third gear upon deceleration. I can imagine that this will cost me a bit to have sorted. So I am strongly considering putting a T5 box out of an EB falcon in. So Im doing my research re gearing and coupling it to the bellhousing. We will see how it goes. Anyway, Im glad to be part of the scene and look forward to the advice and banter
