F-100 on Jalopnik and ebay
Here is a story I just saw on Jalopnik about a listing on ebay for a 53 F-100.
Forget The Ford F150, This Is The Coolest Cheap Truck You Can Buy Today

I just don't understand vehicles like that. You can't use it as a truck anymore, it won't fit more than two people, it has 4 wheel drive and less ground clearance than a Subaru, and it has obviously been rebuilt but still looks like junk. I can appreciate GBs working trucks that look like old working trucks. This is something else entirely.

GB's working trucks are things of beauty!
This one....I don't hate it, but I'm not too fond of it either. I think a truck should be a truck.
The thing that hit me most was the Jalopnik title "The coolest cheap truck you can buy today." What!!!! $17,500!!! Compare that to Dr. Smith's F250 that sold for around $10k. Now that was a thing of beauty. These guys have a completely different definition of cheap than I do.

That is GB Sisson, he has a bunch of old trucks that are used for the jobs they were built for. Lots of very cool stuff.
Here is one of his threads.

Here is a typical example.
Edit: I can't stop looking at that picture. So very cool!
