That picture was taken the morning that I put the Firestone M/T's on her and headed to Wenatchee. Was taken in Puyallup, WA. Now, I do have green grass in Wenatchee but that is thanks to having access to irrigation water!

No optical illusion - there is a bend in the bed, was there when I bought it, along with the rust in the tailgate and the front of the bed. Tailgate rust is due to original owner mixing chemicals and fertilizer when it was used on the farm. Looks ok from about 40 feet away.

If you ever make it over to Wenatchee give me a shout - would love to talk shop with you.

BTW - working on a pair of white bucket seats for the truck and a console (Comet console since I couldn't locate a Falcon one). Hoping later this summer they'll be installed.

Sounds a lot like how I got mine. Found it one night on Craigslist and by the next day I was driving 700 miles to go get it.

1966 F-350 bought by my 16 yr. old about a month ago. 352 engine, 4-speed, Dana 70 axles and transfer case taken from a '69 Dodge W300. Runs good; but we have a bit of tire shake around 60mph. Might be the old tires; not sure yet. From the factory it was a 2WD. The trucks gets lots of looks; and mostly favorable reactions.

Very cool truck. Kind of suprising Ford never built a 350 4x4 given it wouldn't have a taken very many parts that weren't already on the shelf.

You guys have some seriously awesome trucks. To me.....the 4x4s are the coolest ones built, and despite all the major headaches in discovrtng and fixing my new truck in 3 short weeks....i love it to death. Behold, the green machine. She's a cobbled together mess of mismatched parts but it's awesome none the less
