Hey everybody,
I joined last year but have not posted at all. I have gone back to the older posts and have tried to learn what I can (500 + pages) I bought a 56 back at Thanksgiving. I live in Nevada and I work on the road. So I have not been able to do anything since I tore the truck down in 2 days. I am now in Cheyenne WY.
Been here since September. While here I found a friend that lives in Polk Nebraska. I have made 2 trips to his place. It is 5 1/2 hours from me. The parts and trucks he has will make you speechless. So now I have some fenders hood and other parts to keep me busy while I am on the road. I can't post pictures on this post but if you go to my gallery you will so what I am talking about.

Thanks for the pics. Just by looking at the photos I could tell he lived in a state out west. Lots of room, and tons of old farm/work trucks to get.

 

WOW, I sure would love to have them all, but especially that 3 door cab thats sitting behind the tractor on the ground!! Thats TOO COOL!!!

 

That is an awesome collection. If he is ever interested in letting go of one of his 60 trucks or one of those crew cabs, i would be very interested.

Thrifty...I would like an email or an address if it is ok for this truck-collector. I am in Cheyenne frequently and if this is in Nebraska....maybe I could look around and buy a few trucks.

I Believe Terry said he has over 250 trucks. Yes he has parts for sale and he also ships. He has new fiberglass fenders and big back window conversions. Also hoods that have been chopped and lowered. Spendy but sharp. Also kits for chopping the cab. He has so much it will blow your mind if you go in person. Also a stand up guy. Nowdays that is hard to find.

Well I'm not sure what is wrong but when I go to Thriftys gallery it says he hasn't created one yet???? I want to see them.... I want to drool too!

Oh Man! Thanks Havi. That is sweet! Wished we had places like that here in Alabama! My wife is from North Platte Ne. We spent 2 weeks out that way last summer riding our bikes up to South Dakota and Montana. Stopped in North Platte and then on down to Imperial NE. to visit her dad. Wished we could have run across this while we were out there! Wonder if I could have strapped a couple fenders or doors or grills on the back of the bike????? LOL EDIT: Thanks Walford's 56 Havi set me straight.

ok guys i got an is-ewzu 5 ton box truck , and access too two car trailers and two mini vans .... who wants to do a road trip ???????????????????????????

 

All I can say is My wife would D-I-V-O-R-C-E Me if I had that many trucks! Anybody know what child support is these days Lol.
